Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the apparatus without requiring reactor and agitator, by sucking material gas and material liquid into screw compressor, and contacting and reacting the material gas with the material liquid by raising pressure, heating, and agitating in this gas compression process.
CONSTITUTION: A two-stage compression apparatus is constituted with liquid injection type screw compressors 1, 1', and suction port 2 of the screw compressor 1 of the lower stage is communicated with a gas suction pipe 3 from material gas supply source A and liquid injection pipe 4 from material liquid supply source B. A liquid pump 5 and a cooler 6 are inserted in the midway of the pipe 4, and liquid injection pipes 7, 7' branched off in the fore part thereof are communicated with liquid injection holes 8, 8'. Thus, in the gas compression process, the gas is raised in pressure and heated to contact and react with the liquid. The liquid cooled in the compression process is injected from the hole 8 to seal and cool the gas existing in the space between the case of compressor 1 and rotor. Thus, the apparatus may be miniaturized and simplified.
