Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title substance, with simple process without using expensive device and raw material, by treating an unground milt of fish directly with a concentrated solution of an inorganic salt.
CONSTITUTION: Nucleoprotamine is extracted from an unground milt of fish directly with a 1-2M aqueous solution of an inorganic salt such as alkali metal chloride, sulfate, nitrate, ammonium chloride, sulfate, etc., at pref. room tempW60°C. The extract is diluted with water, and a white precipitate of nucleoprotamine can be separated, from which the title substance is obtained.
EFFECT: Since the milt of fish is not ground, the difficult and low-efficiency operations such as centrifugal separation, filtration, etc., can be eliminated.
