Abstract

PURPOSE: Title spinneret assembly in which annular projections surrounding the openings of nozzles are provided in the ring path between upper and lower mouth pieces and the inlet opening is bored in the center of the upper mouth piece, thus distributing uniformly the spinning dope and reducing dead space.
CONSTITUTION: Spinning dope A is sent from inlet 2 through center depression and uniformly distributed through radially arranged grooves 14 to ring groove 12. The dope A runs between annular projections 15 on the inside periphery and almost completely disperses near annular projections on the outside periphery, then flows into nozzles 18. Spinning dope B dispersed on upper mouth piece 1 is steeply drawn by small holes 7 of nozzles 5, extruded out on the projections 15 in ring paths 16 where the dopes A and B are combined. Narrow gaps between the projection parts 15 and the bottom surface of mouth piece 1 divide the dopes vertically and the dopes flow into nozzles and are extruded out of the annular nozzles 20.
