Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the fine tuning by means of the high-stability reference oscillator by generating the code signal from ROM correcponding to the operation of the channel selecting means to store the signal in RAM, altering the contents of RAM and then delivering the code signal to decide the division ratio of the variable divider. CONSTITUTION:Variable divider 8 controls the division ratio by the code signal and supplies the output signal of the local oscillator 6 transmitted via divider 8 and the output signal of reference oscillator 9 to frequency phase comparator 10 to apply the comparison output to oscillator 6 in the form of the oscillation frequency control signal. ROM15 generates the code signals in accordance with the operation of the channel selecting means, stores part of the code signals to RAM17, alters the contents of RAM17 and then decides the division ratio of divider 8 with the code signals via at least part of RAM17. Thus the fine tuning becomes possible by using the crystal oscillator featuring a high stability for the reference oscillator.
