Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize channel selections by enabling a channel selector using a synthesizer method to make a fine adjustment of local oscillation automatically with the output of automatic frequency tuning circuit AFT when an input desired frequency arrives being shifted from a normal frequency. CONSTITUTION:This channel selector consists of synthesizer 20, synthesizer driving part 40 and mixing part 80. Frequency (f0) local oscillator 21 is applied to divider circuit 22 and then deivided. This frequency is phase-compared with that of refererance oscillator 23 by phase comparator 24, and a voltage which corresponds to the comparision state is fed back to oscillator 21. With channel button 41, a frequency equivalent to the channel is written to channel number memory 41, and (m) of 1/m divider 30 is set to this frequency. When channel raido waves are tuned perfectly with the output of mixing part 80, a gradation voltage is generated in automatic frequency tuning circuit 48. This output is supplied to counter 43 to vary the value of (n) of 1/n divider 31, thereby making a fine adjustment.
