R(Co l-u-v-w Mn u Fev Tw)z, where 0<u<0.30, 0.05<v<0.50, 0.005<w≤0.20, 6.5≤z≤9.0, and T is a mixture of one or more than one kind of V, Nb, Ta. The permanent magnet material having a large energy product is thus obtainable.
