Abstract
PURPOSE:To complete an unfinished portion of a work perfectly and improve a working accuracy by a method wherein an electric discharge machining is effected by forcibly inserting an electrode into the work and the electrode is provided with a revolutional motion when the electrode is arrived at a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:An electric discharge machining is effected under forcibly inserting an electrode 1 into a direction of a work 2. When the electrode 1 is arrived at a predetermined position, an output of a differential transformer 13 becomes lower than a comparison voltage VB of a comparator 19 and an output of a comparator 15 becomes ''1''. Then, a monostable multivibrator 16 is operated during a period of time preset in a time setting device 16. The electrode 1 effects a revolutional motion during this period of time and remove a part of the work 2 remained without being worked yet. After the period of time preset in the time setting device 16, an output of an AND gate 18 becomes ''1'' and is functioned to a pulse current generating device 3 as a signal indicating a finish of the working, thereby, a flip-flop 17 is reset and a series of the operations is completed.
