Abstract

PURPOSE: To make efficient and excellent working by a method wherein a device controlling the state of intermission of a high-frequency pulse in accordance with the state of electric discharge is provided near to a tank and is made to perform the control locally.
CONSTITUTION: A rectifier 6 is provided in the part of a working machine (not shown in the figure) to be fitted with an article 1 to be worked and an electrode 2 and a high-frequency power source 4 is connected to the rectifier. And an electrospark machining is performed by a pulse train obtained from rectification. The state of electric discharge is discriminated, as to whether the state is good or bad, by a circuit 11 for discriminating the state of electrodischarge, and the on-and-off of the time of an electrodischarge operation is controlled by a pulse generator in accordance with the discrimination output, thereby the output of the rectifier 6 being controlled intermittently. By bringing rectifier 6, discriminating circuit 11 and a control circuit for the output of the rectifier near to the aperture for working, the state of electrodischarge can be controlled excellently, while the hindrance due to noises, etc. and also the bad effect due to time lag is prevented from occurring.
