Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the liquid crystal cell of high grade inexpensively by using solvent type adhesive agents of silicone rubber base and nitrile rubber base for the adhesive agents which seal the liquid crystal cell in the liquid crystal cell which does not have any liquid crystal injection port.
CONSTITUTION: One kind of solvent type adhesive agnets of silicone rubber base, nitrile rubber base, chloroprene rubber base and polyester resin base is beforehand coated to the specified pattern on a segment electrode substrate 21 or common electrode substrate 22 by a gravure offset printing machine, after which it is predried. For example, a solvent type adhesive agent 32 is transferred on the substrate 31 at the specified pattern by way of a blanket 35.
