CONSTITUTION:A sealing material 3 consisting of an epoxy adhesive agent and a spacer is printed on one of a pair of glass substrates 1, 2 which has formed an electrode pattern, the other glass substrate is placed on it, they are fixed temporarily by applying an instantaneous adhesive agent 7 of an alpha-cyanoacrylate compound, baking them at 150 deg.C for one hour in the baking furnace, and the substrates 1, 2 are fixed tightly. In this way, a position shift of the electrode pattern is prevented.
