Abstract

PURPOSE:To dispense with detection of revolution speed, by using a primary voltage frequency signal instead of the detected revolution speed value of an induction motor. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a power inverter 3 is detected by a meter transformer 20. The detected value is applied to a slip angular frequency calculation circuit 21 together with the frequency signal of the primary voltage and the primary current value detected by a current transformer 17'. The difference between a primary voltage frequency signal and a set value is amplified by an amplifier 6 to provide set values for the secondary current and the slip frequency. In the secondary current control loop, the secondary current is calculated by the secondary current calculation circuit 24 to control a power rectifier 1 through a phase regulator 18 to equalize the primary current to a set value. In the slip angular frequency control loop, the time-differentiated value of a power factor angle is calculated by a circuit 30 to control the power inverter 3 through a distributor 11. As a result, the speed of revolution does not need to be detected. Therefore, the constitution is simplified.
