Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the controlling properties and to dispense with installation of a tachometer generator, by detecting the speed of revolution from a primary voltage frequency signal and equalizing the response speeds of the secondary current control loop and the slip frequency control loop to each other. CONSTITUTION:The detected output voltage value of a power inverter 3, a detected primary current value and a primary voltage frequency signal are applied to the slip angular frequency calculation circuit 22. Set values for the secondary current and the slip frequency are obtained from the difference between the primary voltage frequency signal and the set value. In the secondary current control loop, the secondary current is calculated by the seconary current calculation circuit 25 to control a power rectifier 1 through a phase regulator 28. In the slip frequency control loop, the power inverter 3 is controlled through a distributor 11 on the basis of the slip frequency value calculated by the circuit 22. As a result, the ratio of the secondary current to the slip angular frequency can be kept constant even in a transient state. Controlling properties are thus improved.
