Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a controller without use of any position detector by controlling input AC voltage with a multiphase sine wave approximate staircases synchronized with a specified phase relationship between a terminal vltage inverting signal of a synchronous motor and a pulse train corresponding to speed. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal voltage waveform a of a synchronous motor 13 detected with a transformer 171 is inverted in polarity, 3 phase sine wave approximate staircases d-f with a phase difference of 120 deg. are outputted from an electrical position arithmetic device 20 based on a trigger signal b to be formed within the electrical position arithmetic device 21 and an output pulse train (c). Receiving this signal, a frequency controlling circuit 15 controls a power converter 12 to regulate the input AC voltage of the synchronous motor 13.
