Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the variation of output electric power by detecting a zero- crossing signal from an output terminal of a filter interrupting higher harmonic included in AC power voltage. CONSTITUTION:A load 2 is connected to an AC power source 3 through an electric power controlling element 1 such as a thyristor to pass the basic frequency of AC power voltage, a filter 4 interrupting higher harmonic is connected to the AC power source 3 to input the output of the filter 4 to a zero-crossing detecting circuit 5 and a trigger circuit 6 setting up the output timing of a trigger pulse outputted from the element 1 on the basis of the output timing of the circuit 5 is also provided in a titled circuit. The input voltage of the zero-crossing circuit 5 is made to almost complete sine wave by using the filter 4, so that the ignition timing of the element 1 is prevented from variation due to the superposition of higher harmonic.
