Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device of low losses, small distortion in waveform and good stability of output voltage by interposing a thyristor on the primary winding side of a ferro-resonance transformer having two secondary windings, and changing the gate phase angle thereof by the specific signal. CONSTITUTION:A thyristor 51 is interposed on the primary winding 50A side of a ferro-resonance transformer 50 having two secondary windings 50B, 50C. Also, the integrated signal IS outputted from an integrating circuit 62 according to the zero cross of the AC input power source from an auxiliary power transformer 55 and the threshold signal SL determined by comparing the detected voltage Vi1 by one of the secondary windings, 50C, and reference voltage VS are compared in a comparator 63, by which a gate signal CM is generated. The other 50B of the secondary windings is connected to a load, and the level of said signal SL is automatically controlled, whereby the pulse width of the gate signal CM is changed and the gate phase angle of the thyristor 51 is changed.
