Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust voltage in a range that an inverter can control currents, by equivalently lowering the voltage of a direct current power source by means of a voltage regulator when alternating current voltage drops due to the trouble, etc. at an alternating current system to the extent beyond the controlling capacity of the inverter.
CONSTITUTION: A voltage-voltage transducer 62 converts the output of an alternating current voltage transformer 61 into voltage signals (control signals), and a control circuit 63 manufactures signals for adjusting a voltage regulator 6 from the control signals. The characteristics of the output volatge of the voltage regulator 6 to the detecting value of the alternating current voltage are as follows; when voltage is in an alternating current range that can be controlled by means of an inverter, the output voltage of the voltage regulator is zero. When alternating current voltage becomes lower than the range, the output voltage rectilinearly increases. When voltage reaches the minimum alternating current voltage, the output voltage of the voltage regulator puts out voltage equal to the voltage of a direct current power source.
