Abstract

PURPOSE:To always control the regenerative energy of a motor in high accuracy by controlling the regenerative energy absorbing circuit in response to the deviation between the signal of the DC power voltage for driving the motor and a DC signal proportional to the AC power voltage as a reference value. CONSTITUTION:A DC power source is formed by an AC power source 1 and a rectifying circuit 2, and an induction motor 3 is controlled by the operations of transistors Tr1-Tr6. The regenerative energy is fed back to a DC bus 4 via diodes D1-D6, and is consumed in a regenerative energy absorbing circuit having a capacitor 5, a resistor 6 and a transistor Tr7. The transistor Tr7 of the absorbing circuit is controlled by the output of a control circuit 7 in response to the deviation 10a between the DC signal 12a proportional to the power source 1 obtained via an auxiliary transformer 11 and the rectifier 12a as a reference and the signal 9a proportional to the voltage of the bus 4 detected by a voltage detector 9.
