Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise characteristics and quality with the separation of welds prevented from being caused by the intermittent cutting after welding by making thermosetting powder high-molecular insulating resin molds on the circumferential faces of an armature coil and a commutator after the ultrasonic welding thereof. CONSTITUTION:Thermosetting power high-molecular resin molds 14 are provided for the insulation of the ultrasonic weld of the lead portion 3a of an armature coil 3 and a segment 7 and the vicinity thereof. Thereafter, the end portion of the lead portion 3a of the coil 3 and the outer-circumferential portion of the segment 7 are cut and if necessarily finished. Since this cutting is not intermittent, the end portion of the coil 3 is pressurized by mold 14 highly resistant to compressive force. The separation of the weld can be prevented for improving the armature in electric insulation characteristic, mechanical strenght, heat radiation characteristic and so forth.
