Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the constitution of an air feeder for a multicylinder engine of an autobicycle, by arranging a plurality of check valves to be provided in a secondary air path for cleaning exhaust on plane portions of a polygonal sleeve and containing them in a valve box.

CONSTITUTION: Through holes 22 drilled in plane portions 20 of a sleeve body 21 shaped into almost a square tube are capped by reed valves 23 to mount stoppers and construct check valve elements 25. To grooves 31 on inner faces of a valve box 30 equipped to the bottom of a fuel tank, angular head parts 32 of the check valve element 25 are engaged to constitute a chamber 28 in the inside of the sleeve body 21 and valve chambers 35 in the outside, drill outflow ports 29 from each of the valve chambers 35 on walls of the valve box 30 and cover the above said members by using a cap 33. Outward of the valve box 30 at the opposite side to the cap 33, a filtration chamber 36 filled by a foamed material is provided to allow it to be linked to the chamber 28 through holes 40. In this way, when a negative pressure is produced in an exhaust path, atmospheric air goes through the filtration chamber 36, holes 40 and the chamber 28 to open the valves and is conducted to a secondary air path 11 for cleaning exhaust from the outflow ports 29.
