Abstract
PURPOSE: To miniaturize the constitution of a valve device in the multicylinder engine of an autobicycle, by containing check valves, provided in a secondary air path for cleaning each exhaust, in a valve box divided into a plurality of valve chambers.
CONSTITUTION: A valve box 23 equipped to the bottom of a fuel tank is divided into a plurality of valve chambers 25 by partitions 24, and the valve chamber 25 is divided into an upstream chamber 25a and downstream chamber 25b engaging a valve unit 26 and seat plate 27, to which its stopper 28 is mounted, to grooves 29 on inner walls of said chamber 25. The seat plates 27 are prevented from coming out by a cover 30 of the valve box through a packing 34. Two top and bottom valve chambers are connected through pipe joints respectively through screw holes 31 for the upstream chamber 25a to a rubber pipe 33 linked to an air cleaner box 11 and for the downstream chamber 25b to a rubber pipe 17 that constitutes a secondary air path 16. In such a simple construction as described, the work of its assembly and disassembly can be facilitated further with a miniaturization capable for the whole unit.
