Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect a lead valve for suction of the secondary air in exhaustion system, which valve being installed on the cylinder head cover, by furnishing a thick elastic insulation seal between the cylinder head and the cover for it.
CONSTITUTION: A lead valve element 24 in a conventional construction for suction of the secondary air to the exhaust port 6 is installed on the cylinder head cover 17 with a seal 22 interposed. Between the cylinder head 2 and the cover for it, 17, a thick elastic insulation seal 16 is arranged so that the seal 22 will not lose its function owing to the heat from the cylinder head 2.
