Abstract

PURPOSE:To enalbe the accurate measurement of the temperature of a low emissivity object by radiating the reference infrared ray from a black body furnace onto the surface of the measuring object, and detecting and processing the infrared ray reflected therefrom and the infrared ray radiated from the measuring object itself. CONSTITUTION:A black body furnace 1 is controlled at a constant temperature at all times and is so provided as to radiate a reference infrared ray NB intermittently to the measuring object 7. An infrared ray detector 4 converts the infrared ray N2 of the reference infrared ray NB reflected from the measuring object 7 and the infrared ray N1 radiated from the measuring object 7 itself to electric signals, and send these to a signal processing part 5, where amplification and shaping are done. An arithmetic part 6 performs arithmetic processing based on the signal P1 from the signal processing part 5 and the reference infrared ray equivalent signal PB from the black body furnace 1 and calculates the temperature t1 of the measuring object 1.
