Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a simple measurement with no contact for the stress distribution, by detecting the infrared-rays radiated from the same area of an object to be measured to which the load varing with time is applied with two timings by which different loads are applied. CONSTITUTION:The infrared-rays radiated from the same area or almost the same area of the object 4 to be measured to which the load varying with time is applied are detected by the infrared-ray detector 9 with at least two different timings by which different loads are applied. The signal corresponding to the width of temperature variation during application of different loads is obtained. Based on this signal, the signal is divided through the divider circuit 16 and by the signal proportional to the temperature of the area where no load is applied. The signal thus obtained is displayed or recorded by the cathode-ray tube 19 or the like via the scan signal producing circuit 22.
