Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure the density of the grain circulating in a drier at the same time as measuring the water content thereof by a high-frequency system, and to compensate the output of an electrode plate in accordance with density measurement output for accurate water content measurement.
CONSTITUTION: Grain density is measured by the gravimeter installed in the chamber adjacent to an electrode plate for measuring the water content of grain, thus- obtained measurement output and the output of this measurement and that of a water content meter N are applied on an arithmetic circuit L for compensating the measurement output of said water content meter N in accordance with the ouput of said gravimeter M. The output of said arithmetic circuit L is applied on a water content indicator and an operation controller 42 so that the target value of water content can be attained accurately through drying grain.
