Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive the increase of output of the turbine, by heating the gas, to be introduced into the top gas turbine of the blast furnace, with the heat energy held in the top gas. CONSTITUTION:The top gas of the blast furnace 1 is cleaned by the dry type dust collector 2 and the wet type dust collector 3, and is introduced into the turbine 4 for its service. Hereupon, the heat exchanger 6 for instance is installed in the dry type dust collector 2, and the heat exchanger 8 is installed in front of the turbine 4. The heat absorbed by the heat exchanger 6 is given to the gas, whose temperature is lowered to about 50 deg.C in the wet type dust collector 3, in the heat exchanger 8 so as to raise the gas temperature up to 100-150 deg.C for instance. According to this method, the increase of output of the turbine 4 can be contrived.
