Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase thermal efficiency, by, in charging mixed fuel to a hot stove, decreasing flow of fuel low in calorific value and increasing flow of fuel high in calorific value with the passage of time so as to give constant heat treansfer rate from the beginning to the end of the combustion.
CONSTITUTION: Flow of a fuel, out of two, having higher calorific value is increased continuously or by stages and the flow of the other fuel having lower calorific value is decreased continuously or by stages, both fuel being mixed in a mixer. By this means, calorific value of the mixed gas is increased gradually, i.e., because the temp. of regenerator bricks is raised according to the rise in temp. of combustion gas at a certain time, the heat transfer rate is constant from the beginning to the end of the combustion. This combustion method increases thermal efficiency and reduces energy consumption.
