Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to measure accurate winding resistance in a short time, by decreasing residual magnetism, through the interruption of supply power after the terminal voltage of inspected transformer is sufficiently reduced.
CONSTITUTION: The circuit breaker 4 connected with the series resistances 7a, 7b is first interrupted during temperature test, and each series resistance is connected to the power circuit 6. In this case, the terminal voltage of the inspected transformer 1 is lower than the supplied voltage by the voltage drop due to the series resistances. Next, the circuit breaker 5 is OFF and the winding resistance of the transformer 1 is measured. Accordingly, accurate measurement can be made at less residual magnetic flux of the transformer 1.
