Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the impedance without disconnecting wiring by supplying and receiving the signal between a measuring circuit and a circuit to be measured through probes which are electromagnetically coupled with the wiring in the circuit to be measured. CONSTITUTION:The cores of the probes p 5 and 6, which are constituted so that a part of each core can be freely opened and closed, are temporarily opened, the wiring 2 of the circuit to be measured 1 is introduced in the cores, and the cores are closed. When a signal is supplied from an AC signal source 1, a current is induced in the wiring 2 through the probe 5. A signal is induced in the probe 6 by said current and appears at at terminals 8. The voltage and the current at the terminals 8 are measured in a measuring circuit 11, and the impedance of the circuit 1 viewed from the wiring 2 is obtained. In this constitution, the impedance of the electric circuit wherein wiring is provided can be measured without disconnecting the wiring.
