Abstract

Next, the pressure piston 4 provided to base mold 3 is plunged into the cavity to apply fixed pressure to the molten metal 6, thereby causing the molten metal 6 to freeze. After the casting, the swollen part is removed to form the bottom thickness to a fixed size.
