Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove a core easily and to manufacture high precision cylinder rapidly, by coating the outside surface of the core material with low melting material, then by spraying metallic material on the coated surface to form a core. CONSTITUTION:A core material 1 is made of iron base or aluminum base alloy, or ceramic material, and its outside surface is coated with low melting metal 5- 200mu in thickness by spraying or hot dipping method. In addition, the surface is coated by spraying metallic material having sliding property to a desired thickness to form a casting core, which is fitted to a die casting machine. Then Al or Al alloy is die cast to form a metal 4. The core 1 is drawn off while whole materials are heated. The sprayed coating 3 is shifted and adhered firmly to the Al alloy cast part. The core is removed easily becasue the coating film 2 is of low m.p. The Al alloy cast part is finished to a prescribed inner diameter.
