Abstract
PURPOSE:To perfect an adaptability for high speed recording and to stabilize discharging condition of a drip of recording liquid so as not to cause a damage of printing or lowering of printing characters by controlling a build-up and a trailing of a driving pulse by heating and cooling of a heater. CONSTITUTION:An electro-conductive base plate 1C provided with heating elements H1-H32 on an insulating layer I1 thereof and a grooved plate GL1 provided with long-sized groove patterns M1-M32 utilized as liquid chambers accommodating recording liquid are integralized by jointing so that the heating elements and the long-sized grooves are corresponding each other. The heating elements H1-H32 are further provided with selective electrodes 1l1-1l32 to impress an image signal to the heating elements selectively and a common electrode. Further, an unit line electrode D1 for impressing an unit line signal and selective electrodes P1-P32 are formed on the insulating layer of the base plate. A switching element MD56 is closed, elements MD55-1 are opened to impress an image information on an terminal P1 and heating element 56H32 is fed with electricity. Thereby, the heater is heated and a drip of the recording liquid is flown.
