Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain constant printing quality in a device for publishing tickets printed by the thermal head by a method wherein temperatures in the device and of the head supporter are detected and when they are under a certain combined temperature, electrical conditions to the head are changed. CONSTITUTION:In a device for publishing tickets printed by the thermal head 15, temperatures of publishing blanks, printing ink, etc. are detected indirectly by a thermometer 2 for detecting temperatures in the device and temperatures of the head 15 are detected by a thermometer 1 fixed to a ceramic plate supporting the thermal head 15. Comparing these detected temperatures to the prescribed value, the inner part of the device is heated by supplying electric current to the head in no printing or applying voltage or time to the head is changed to obtain constant printing quality.
