Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare a cold rolled steel strip for a deep drawing process in a significantly simple procedure by a method wherein, after a steel is subjected to the hot rolling, the said steel is directly subjected to the cold rolling without descaling and, thereafter, the continuous annealing treatment comprising a specific procedure is applied. CONSTITUTION:A steel slab is subjected to the hot rolling to obtain a steel plate and this obtained steel plate is directly subjected to the cold rolling without removing scales generated during heating and hot rolling to obtain a steel strip. This steel band is continuously subjected to the annealing treatment by using an atmosphere controlable jet stream direct fire type heating furnace having at least one of a heating zone, a holding zone and an over ageing zone. Firstly, the steel strip is rapidly heated to a temp. range of a recrystalizing temp. -860 deg.C in a heating furnace and maintained for 5-30sec in a nonreducing or a weak oxidizing atmosphere. Subsequently, the said steel strip is rapidly quenched from a holding temp. of above 600 deg.C near to an over ageing treatment temp. and subjected to the over ageing treatment at 300-500 deg.C within 20sec-2min. Thereafter, the steel strip is cooled to a room temp. and the oxidized film is removed by the pickling, the wet polishing, the liquid honing or the like and, finally, thus treated steel strip is subjected to the refining roll to produce a cold rolled steel strip.
