Abstract

PURPOSE: To vacuum-braze the faying part without flying of Zn by cladding braze material on one surface of a core material and cladding coating material of Al-Zn alloy on the other surface, forming oxide film on the surface thereof and forming the material to tube form with the coated surface on the inner side.
CONSTITUTION: Braze material 1b is clad on one surface of an Al alloy core material 1a and coating material 1c of Al-Zn alloy is clad on the other surface. An oxide film 2 is formed on the coating material 1c surface. With the coating material 1c of this Al mating plate 1 on the inner side, the plate is formed to flat tube form and its both side ends are bent inward and butted to mate the brazing material 1b to itself in such a manner that the coating material 1c does not expore outside. If this faying part is vacuum-brazed, the tube having the coating material 1c on the inside surface is readily obtained without flying and evaporating of Zn from the inside of the coating material 1c. This coating material 1c plays a role of sacrificial corrosion.
