Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain correct two-color copies by exposing the photoconductive layer of higher sensitivity through a filter when there is a density in the image of a two- color original.
CONSTITUTION: When the 1st photoconductive layer 11 is higher in sensitivity in a photoreceptor, it is so constituted that, at the time of performing exposure by the light image of a two-color original, the exposure is done by using a filter which cuts off part of, e.g., red-color light. Thence, the red-color light entering the 1st photoconductive layer decreases, hence the photoconductive effect decreases as well. This becomes substantially the decrease in the sensitivity in the 1st photoconductive layer 11 and by doing in this way, the sensitivity difference from the 2nd photoconductive layer 12 may be decreased to the extent of becoming no problems. Hence, such as abnormality that the gray-color portion at the intermediate part of the image is copied as a red-color image may be eliminated and the correct two-color copying may be done.
