Abstract
PURPOSE:To change over currents flowing through tap changers as little currents by simple constitution even when the currents of tap winding are large by a method wherein the two tap changers are mounted which are connected to eavh of series winding and shunt winding. CONSTITUTION:Series winding 1 and shunt winding 2 are separated and series winding 1 is connected to a movable terminal of the first tap changer 4, and shunt winding 2 to a movable terminal of the second tap changer 42. Each tap lead drawn out from tap winding 3 through which the currents IL at the low tension side flow is further divided into two systems, and one is connected to each fixed terminal of the first tap changer 4, and the other to that of the second tap changer 42 respectively. Voltage is regulated by dividing currents IL at the low tension side flowing through tap winding 3 into series winding currents IH and shunt winding currents IC and by tap-changing over the currents. Thus, IL can easily by divided into IH and IC and tap-changed over even when currents IL is large, and constitution can be simplified.
