Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the acceleration of an automobile engine and reduce fuel consumption, by interrupting the function of a compressor use for an air conditioner during the engine acceleration. CONSTITUTION:A differential pressure switch 20 is composed of No.1 signal chamber 27 communicated to an intake manifold 13 of the engine through a negative pressure delay valve 40, No.2 signal chamber 28 directly communicated to the intake manifold 13, diaphragm pistons 25, 26 displaceable in accordance with the pressure difference between both signal chambers, and of a lead switch 32 selectively functioning being communicated to the diaphragm pistons. This differential pressure switch 20 controls the function of the compressor through a solenoid clutch 50.
