PURPOSE:To read information in a high speed and reduce power consumption by providing a means which charges previously the output line of a memory unit and by causing the signal at the previously charged potential to agree with a prescribed address information which another memory unit has. CONSTITUTION:ROM10 on the same chip as an information processing unit has N-number addresses, and a read address is designated through RAM20, which N- number or more address designation information, and decoder 30. In this case, transistors T21 to T2n are charged previously before information is read onto the read line of RAM20 by the read command from control unit 50, and simultaneously, transistors T11-T1R of the output line of ROM11 are charged previously. Then, the previously charged potential is caused to agree with information indicating an address other than N-number addresses which RAM20 has.
