In, for example, an X-ray CT apparatus, which is increasing in speed year by year, it is necessary to sufficiently suppress vibrations due to weight imbalance of a gantry rotating portion. In addition, the slice thickness tends to be thin and multi-layered, and vibration during scanning causes deterioration of image quality. Therefore, a gantry damping technique is becoming more and more important.

In the present invention (1), the two strut members 55 are provided.
The third frame member 52 is provided between the two legs of L and 55R.
Because of the structure (skeletal structure) for directly supporting the beam by the beam, not only any twisting force is not applied to the first and second frame members 54L and 54R, but also vibration is caused by the rotation of the gantry, so that both the column members 55L and 55R are supported. The lateral (x-axis direction) vibration that is applied can be suppressed with high rigidity.

In this case, it is preferable that both the strut members 55.
By the third frame member 52 that develops perpendicularly to the subject body axis CLb between the vicinity of both legs such that the inward moment forces F 1L 'and F 1R ' are exerted by the gantry's own weight of L and 55R. Beam support directly. Therefore, the gantry 35 that is a heavy object with the base 50 having a concave shape in a front view is used.
Even if it is supported, it is possible to support the inward force applied to both the strut members 55L and 55R with high rigidity. At the same time, high rigidity can be obtained against lateral vibration.

The operation of X-ray CT imaging will be outlined. The X-ray fan beam XLFB from the X-ray tube 31 passes through the subject 100 and is incident on the detector rows A and B of the X-ray detector 33 all at once. The data collection unit 34 projects the projection data g A (X, θ), g B (X, θ) corresponding to each detection row output of the X-ray detector 33.
Are generated and stored in the data collection buffer 15. Here, X represents the channel number of the detector, and θ represents the projection (view) angle. Further, the X-ray projection similar to the above is performed at each view angle θ where the scanning gantry 35 is slightly rotated, and thus the projection data for one rotation of the scanning gantry is collected and accumulated. At the same time, the top plate 21 is intermittently / continuously moved in the body axis CLb direction in accordance with the axial / helical scan method, thus collecting and accumulating all projection data on the required imaging region of the subject, and storing these as secondary storage. It is stored in the device 16. Then, the CPU 11a reconstructs a CT tomographic image of the subject based on the obtained projection data after completion of all the scans or following (parallel to) the scan execution,
This is displayed on the display device 13.

In FIGS. 3A and 3D, the X-ray tube 31
The gantry 35, on which the X-ray detector 33 and the like are mounted, is rotatably supported by a bearing (not shown) provided on the inner peripheral surface of the back plate 37 on the rear surface, and at the same time, the body axis CLb of the subject 100 is fixed. For example, it rotates in the direction of arrow a. The back plate 37 is provided with both arm portions that extend from the left and right sides to the front, and by supporting the both arm portions with the gantry support structure (base) 50 according to the present embodiment, the gantry 35 can be supported. The whole is supported so that it can be tilted.

The base 50 has a body axis CLb with respect to the floor.

And column members 55L and 55R that are erected from the frame members 54L and 54R and extend diagonally upward, respectively, and a frame (beam-shaped) member 52 that is provided between both leg portions of the column members 55L and 55R. It has a skeletal structure consisting of In this structure, since the central beam member 52 directly supports the left and right support members 55L and 55R,
Unlike the conventional case, the torsion stress is not present in each intermediate portion of the frame members 54L and 54R, and the rigidity of the base 50 (in particular, the rigidity against gantry lateral vibration) can be increased.

In this case, it is preferable that both strut members 55 be provided.
Of the L and 55R, the body axis CLb of the subject is set between the two legs where an inward moment force is exerted by the weight of the gantry.
The beam is directly supported by the frame member 52 which is developed vertically. Therefore, even if the gantry 35, which is a heavy object, is supported by the base 50 having a concave shape in a front view, the inward force F 1L , F 1R applied to both the strut members 55L, 55R.
Can be supported with high rigidity. At the same time, high rigidity can be obtained even with respect to lateral vibration accompanying the rotational vibration of the gantry 35.

Further, the beam-shaped member 72, which is conventionally two front and rear
Since F and 72B can be reduced to one beam-shaped member 52 at the center, the weight and cost of the base 50 can be reduced. Also, each member 54L, 54R, 55L, 55R, 5
For example, by using, for example, a steel pipe having a rectangular cross section, the weight (thinning) and the compactness (reduction in cross section) of each member can be achieved without impairing the rigidity of the entire structure. Incidentally, in this example, the frame members 54L, 54R
The plate thickness of each is = 3.2 mm, the plate thickness of each of the pillar members 55L and 55R is 6 mm, and the plate thickness of the beam member 52 at the center is 6 mm, but not limited to this.

Further, bottom plates 53L, 5 are provided on the left and right of the base 50.
3R is provided, and each frame member 54L, 54R,
By joining 52, the joining relation of each member is fixed and maintained, and the bottom plate 53L, 53R is provided with height adjusting bolt members 53a to 53c to keep the base 50 horizontal. Therefore, it is possible to obtain sufficient rigidity and installation stability to mount and fix the base 50 on the floor surface without providing a rectangular framework on the floor surface as in the conventional case. Incidentally, in this example, the thickness of each of the bottom plates 53L and 53R is 4.5 mm, but the thickness is not limited to this.

The left and right frame members 54L, 5
The following several methods are conceivable as a method of vertically arranging each support member 55L, 55R from 4R. The mode is shown in FIGS. In FIG. 5 (A), the column members 55L, 55R are erected from the surfaces of the left and right bottom plates 53L, 53R, and the frame members 54L, 54L 'and 54 are attached to the respective legs from the front and rear.
The case where R and 54R 'are joined is shown. In this method, the force of the strut members 55L, 55R falling forward (downward) is applied to the front and rear frame members 54L, 54L ', 54R,
Since it can be directly supported by the rigid body of 54R ', a high supporting rigidity can be obtained in the vertical direction. In addition, the pillar members 55L, 55
R and frame members 54L, 54L 'and 54R, 54
Since the side surface of the joint with R'is flush with each other, by attaching a reinforcing plate or the like to be described later to this portion, each support member 55L,
It is easy to further increase the vertical support rigidity of 55R.

FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of the gantry support mechanism according to the embodiment. When the heavy gantry 35 is supported by the base 50, both the support members 5 are supported due to the lateral vibration force caused by the uneven rotation of the gantry weight and the gantry's own weight.
The inward forces F 1L and F 1R acting between 5L and 55R are transmitted as moment forces to the respective legs via the rigid support columns,
In the present embodiment, such a force is applied to one beam-shaped member 52.
Since it is a structure that is directly supported by, the left and right frame members 5
Not only does torsional stress not occur in 4L and 54R,
Sufficient rigidity (vibration damping characteristics, etc.) to suppress lateral vibration of the gantry 35 can be obtained.

Here, referring to FIGS. 3 (B) / (C), as in the present embodiment, the weight of the gantry 35 is changed in the front-rear direction by the bearing portion 41 and the hydraulic cylinder 43 at the upper part of the column. In the case of supporting both sides as shown in the figure, it is possible to support the center of gravity of the gantry 35 so as to be in the intermediate portion between the bearing portion 41 and the tip end portion of the cylinder rod in the body axis direction. The lowered perpendicular line comes closer to the side near the legs of each of the column members 55L and 55R. Therefore, preferably, in the case of extension casting of the support columns 81L and 81R, in this case, the extension is extended to a position that sufficiently covers, for example, a perpendicular line extending from the center of gravity of the gantry.
