Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an accurate and highly efficient detection measurement of the signals by detecting and memorizing both the rise and fall of each detection pulse of the sensor in the measurement of the signal propagation speed in the metal and thus obtaining the stop signal of the counter.
CONSTITUTION: The sound wave is excited in alloy wire 2 by the control of minicomputer 5, and at the same time the clock given from generator 6 is supplied to counter 17 and 18. The propagation signal in wire 2 is detected by sensor 3 and 4 to be applied to input terminal 10 of the signal isolator circuit.
