Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a signal detection circuit of an ultrasonic measuring device which is of a simple constitution and perform a stable operation, by a method wherein a level comparison reference value of an ultrasonic reception pulse is caused to change corresponding to comparison of a counting value of an output of a comparator with a set value. CONSTITUTION:If an ultrasonic wave received by a receiver 2 exceeds a reference value, a pulse is outputted from a comparator 12 to detect the reception timing of the ultrasonic wave. The pulse is counted by a counter 20, and the counting result is compared with a set value of a counting numeral comparing unit 21. Corresponding to the comparing result, the reference value of the comparator 12 changes through a D/A converting part 23, and an ultrasonic wave timing is detectecd through detection of a peak value by means of a diode unsteady against temperature without controlling of a variable grain amplifier. This forms a signal detecting circuit of an ultrasonic measuring device which is reduced in the number of components, is of a simple constitution, and performs asteady operation without being influenced by ambient temperature.
