Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute detection with high reliability even against a burst signal input whose S/N radio is low, by using confirmation procedures of (m) times (m<n) extending over burst of continuous (n) times (n>2). CONSTITUTION:By catching a time point when a comparator output 5 is varied to ''1'' from ''0'', a rise pulse signal 32 is generated by a rise detecting circuit 31. By this signal 32, a pulse generator 34 generates a burst forecasting pulse 35. A measuring frequency counting circuit 36 is counted up by ''1'' each by this pulse 35. When the output 35 is in a ''1'' level at the position of this pulse 35, a detection frequency counting circuit 38 is counted up by ''1''. When an output of the circuit 38 has reaches (n) (n>2), the output of the circuit 38 is compared by an absolute value comparator 40, and if an output pulse 39 is larger than (m) (m<n), it is recognized that the pulse 35 is indicating a burst position correctly, and a burst existence position pulse 21 is outputted as an output.
