Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect a generation of cavitation early and with accuracy by detecting an abnormal phenomenom as a change in the level of electric signal and obtaining the frequency of generations of this level change per unit time.
CONSTITUTION: Pressure fluctuations on the discharge side of the pump are detected by a detector 1 as electric signals. These signals are then transmitted to the absolute value averaging circuit 3 through an amplifier 2 of the output from the absolute value averaging circuit 3 only the wave form larger than the preset level is pulse-shaped by the wave-form comparison shaping circuit 4 and then is input to the counter circuit 5. When the number of pulses per unit time n which are inputted to the counter circuit 5 has reached N, an alarm command signal is inputted to the alarm circuit 6.
