Abstract

Also improvements must be made on many points concerning the cold working and the reduction of material cost. When 0.03W 3.5% Zr is added to these alloys by weight, temperature of the solution heat treatment at high temperatures near 1300°C can be lowered, the solution heat treatment can be eased, the mass effect is improved, the cold drawing rate can be increased and ferrochrome can be used to reduce the cost. But, when the rate of Zr exceeds 3.5%, the magnetic characteristic is deteriorated, and when its rate is less than 0.03%, no addition effect is given.
