CONSTITUTION:In the rear feed type primary radiator constituted by fitting a coaxial tube with a aplit coaxial type balanced-to-unbalanced coverter 1 onto the center shaft of conductor 2 inside of the coaxial tube provided with metal short piece 3 at one terminal, conductor 2 inside of the coaxial tube of converter 1 is shorted by short piece 3 to conducter 4 outside of the coaxial tube and external conductor 4 is provided with a couple of slots 6. Then TEM waves inside of the pipe are converted into TE11 waves by metal cylinder 7 with a passive reflector. In order to radiate the reflex mirror with high-freqnency power at a proper level, opening flange 8 is provided with dielectric plate 9 of adequate size in the radius direction.
