Abstract
PURPOSE:To cheaply manufacture the title sheet with a high work hardening coefficient n value and high total elongation by heating a cold rolled sheet from a specific temp. to a soaking temp. at an ultra high heating rate, followed by soaking at the temp. for a short time and overaging. CONSTITUTION:In continuous annealing of a cold rolled sheet, the sheet is heated from 600 deg.C to a soaking temp. of 700-750 deg.C at an ultra high heating rate above 40 deg.C/sec and soaked at the temp. for 5-20 sec. The sheet is then cooled to 300- 500 deg.C at a cooling rate above 10 deg.C/sec and overaged in the temp. range for 10- 300 sec. The method of ultra rapid heating is not esp. restricted, yet one or more kinds of the following methods may be adopted: a method of coating the sheet with a heat absorbent, a directly heating method, a heating method by supplying current, an induction heating method, etc.
