Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable efficient removal of hardness constituents contained in waste water prior to the supply of the waste water into an evaporation-condensation device.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water is fed through a feed pipe 1 to a preheater 2, where it is heated than added with Na2CO3 from a line 4 and with NaOH from a line 5, before fed to a precipitation tank 6 for removal of hardness constituents. The waste water is then driven by a liquid transfer pump 8 into a side dilter 9 filled with anthracite (filter agent) for removal of suspensoid. Added with HCl from a line 10, the waste water is fed to an evaporation device for evaporation and condensation, and the condensate is taken out via a line 11. The sludge 12 containing hardness constituents precipitated in the tank 6 is dehydrated by a sludge dehydrator 13.
