Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate a settlement tank for use in settling floating material and to provide a positive separation of the floating material by removing the floating materials in the waste water after aeration process with a cyclone.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water suctioned from the aeration tank 1 by the pump 4 is separated into the waste water containing much volume of floating material and clear waste water under a centrifugal force. The clean waste water is guided from the top of the cyclone 3 by the discharge pipe 5 to the disinfectant tank or the water discharge device, the waste water containing the floating materials settled and separated by a centrifugal force is returned to the aeration tank 1 from the lower water return pipe 6. Therefore, it is not required to provide a settlement tank for settling and separating the floating material after aeration process and further it is possible to have a sufficient separation.
