Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out oil-water separation and water adsorption and filtering at the same time by a method wherein a vertical cylinder is provided at a center in an inverted conical tank and a distance between a lower end of the cylinder and an inner wall of the tank is formed into a narrow distance as well as an adsorption filter device is provided in series to an upper part of the tank.
CONSTITUTION: The vertical cylinder 5 is provided in the oil-water separation device 1 (the inverted conical tank) and said tank is divided into an oil separation chamber 6 and a solid separation chamber 7 by the cylinder 5. Therefore, a passage 8 of water and a solid substance formed by the lower end of the cylinder 5 and the inner wall of the oil-water separation device 1 is made narrow. The oil contaning waste liquid 9 is introduced into the oil separation chamber 6 by a conduit 4 and the floated oil component 11 is discharged from an oil discharge port 12. On the other hand, the solid component 13 is precipitated to a bottom part of the solid separation chamber 7 and discharged from a solid discharge port 14. The water from which the oil and the solid components are separated is passed through a water pumping pipe 15 and raised through the adsorption filter device 2 filled with an adsorbing agent such as silica-alumina and the water 18 purified therein is discharged from a purified water discharge port 19.
