Abstract
PURPOSE: Simple and inexpensive treatment of organic waste water by an apparatus with inclined multipipe contact element between an aeration chamber and a precipitation chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water is introduced through a tube 4 into an influent box 5 of a treating tank 1, and passed through an aeration chamber 2, an inclined multipipe element 14 and a precipitation chamber 3 into a water-circulating passage 12 and successively recycled to the aeration chamber 2, whereby the waste water is subjected to purifying treatment by aerobic microorganism. An incline of the tube of the element is effective for preventing the separation of microorganism layer and for improving the precipitation efficiency of suspended matter in water.
